A private education provider running evening and weekend classes in Box Hill had 600 students and 70 staff on site until 9:30pm, three hours after the last nearby food outlet shut.
The challenge
The provider's wellbeing policy restricted high-sugar lines, and the tenancy sat in a shared building where the owners' corporation had to approve any new plant.
What we did
A restricted planogram weighted to water, low-sugar drinks, nuts, sandwiches and bars, approved by the wellbeing committee before the first fill. We ran the owners' corporation pack including the certificate of currency and electrical details.
The outcome
Both units live in 14 days, the delay entirely owners' corporation scheduling. Evening attendance complaints about 'nothing available after 6pm' stopped appearing in the term feedback survey.
They let our wellbeing committee sign off every single product line before anything was stocked. That is the only reason this got approved.
