The challenge
The owner had priced a fridge and a retail shelf and abandoned both: stock write-offs, cash handling and theft risk during unstaffed hours all landed on a nine-person team.
What we did
Cashless-only combo with a member-approved planogram excluding confectionery. No cash inside, signposted on the unit. All stock, shrinkage and repair exposure sits with us, not the gym.
The outcome
Live in 8 days. Roughly 45% of transactions now occur outside staffed hours — revenue the gym previously could not capture at all — with zero stock investment or write-off risk.
